By booking your accommodation at Alfred View and making payment of the relevant deposits, the guest agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions of Alfred View. Please be advised that the standard terms and conditions may be revised without notice and will be available on our website.

DECEMBER BOOKINGS – NO DEPOSIT REFUNDS IF CANCELLED FROM THE 1ST OF NOVEMBER 2022
1. Booking Process
• A booking will only be confirmed once the relevant deposits have been paid in full and Alfred View has received proof of such payment(s) per e-mail.
2. Cancellation Policy
• No refunds unless we can find another booking in your place.
3. Music and noise
• No music is allowed at all (including cell phones) unless the entire house is booked out.
• Other noise must be kept at a level that maintains the spirit of Alfred View, of a quiet, restful and restorative place. Noise from excessive barking
is included in this category.
• Alfred View maintains the right to ask guests to leave without cost reparation if noise levels are disturbing to other guests. No loud music or noise will be allowed after 10h30 pm.
4. Accommodation
• Check in at the Guest House is any time from 2 pm on the day of arrival and check out is any time before 10 am on the date of departure.
• Failure of any guests to check out before 10 am will result in an extra charge of R150 per room for every 2 hours (or part thereof) after the
prescribed check out time.
• Upon leaving, guests must ensure that their room is locked and that all windows are closed. The key must be left in the room door for
collection and inspection.
• Smoking of tobacco products is only allowed in the outdoor braai and deck area and not inside the rooms or inside the venue.
5. Safety and Security
• The Client and all guests must adhere to all the safety and security guidelines as stipulated in the Alfred View Manual which can be
found in each of the rooms.
• Emergency numbers are posted in the kitchen.
• The stay and the use of the house and any other related activity is undertaken at the guest’s own risk
and the owner and/or its members and employees shall not be held liable for any claim regarding personal injury, illness, death, or the like arising.
from any cause whatsoever, including vis major casus fortuitus or negligence in any form by the owners, its members, employees and/or agents,
whilst staying in the rooms or using the hiking trails.
• All luggage and personal belongings are always at the guest’s own risk. The owner and/or its members and/or its employees are not.
responsible for any form of negligence and/or criminal conduct by third parties. Guests need to make prior arrangement with management should they want to have visitors.
6. Use of alcohol and controlled substances
• The Client shall ensure that all South African laws and regulations regarding the sale, distribution and use of alcohol and controlled or illegal
substances are adhered to.
• The Client indemnifies Alfred View against any loss, damage or claim instituted against Alfred View f for the non-compliance with any legislation
or regulations will not be held responsible for any injury sustained from or during the use of alcohol and other controlled or illegal substances.
